Tim dropped me off at the Zoo so that he could go and sit in massive traffic jams in Seattle, thanks to road work on Seattle's busiest highway.  Clouds and showers were predicted by the weathermen but we were graced with a sunny day.  I enjoyed my visit very much.

Good morning to the funny, friendly Penguins.

Yola:  four more.  Three more.  Two more.  Ma says I've gotta keep fit.

I love playing with the dried grass, throwing it up in the air and putting it on my head.

Would you like to come and play Throw the Grass with me?.

It's a 'Standing Still on one leg' Contest.  First one to move is a goofball.

Maned Wolf:  off in dreamland

Has anyone seen Dad?  Uh-oh - he's probably on the bottom of the pile.

I wonder who this is, high above the crowds?

It's me!   Nayla, the female Jaguar.  Come on in and play.

Hmmmm.  I know I got up here.  How do I get down?

What a life.  Eat, sleep, eat, snooze, eat, nap.

Did you hear what the Zebra did?  No, what?  He colored his stripes! Wow, are they bright!

How cool is this!  I missed a few spots but oh well.  *sings* 'Somewhere over the rainbow'.

Warthogs:  Hey pal - do you ever feel like we are not alone?  Yup.

Here's the newest member of the Zoo.   Taj is an 18-month old Greater One-horned Rhino, the first inhabitant of a new exhibit, the 92 acre Assam Rhino Reserve.  His horn is beginning to grow.

Soon he will be joined by Glenn, born the day after Taj in Ohio. Glenn is already at the Zoo, getting acclimatized to his new surroundings and routines.

Uh oh - here she comes.  I know what she's going to do.

You give the best Back Scratches ever!   Thanks - I'm looking for fleas.

There's nothing like a hot rock on a sunny day.  Nap time!

There's nothing like a big plate of meat on a sunny day either.  Lunch time!

Hey lady!  You otter be taking pictures of us.  See that, guys?  I made a joke! Bwhahahahahahaha!

And so it goes...
